Fire Prison

Fire Prison was originally introduced as a common card in the 2018 Mega-Tin Mega Pack, which served as a compilation set featuring cards from earlier booster releases such as Code of the Duelist and Circuit Break. This card belongs to a thematic series of continuous spell cards designed to support specific monster types, in this case, focusing on the defense and strategy of the Igknight and related fire-attribute archetypes.

The card was designed to facilitate board control by restricting the special summoning of monsters from the extra deck, provided the user controls specific fire-attribute entities. Its aesthetic and mechanical function reflect the broader design philosophy of Yu-Gi-Oh! during the VRAINS era, which often emphasized restrictive effects to balance the rapidly accelerating power levels of monster-heavy strategies. As a common rarity print, it was intended as an accessible tactical option for players building budget-friendly decks.
