Foolish Burial

Foolish Burial was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in 2007 as part of the Tactical Evolution booster set. The card allows a player to send any monster from their deck to the graveyard, a powerful utility effect that has made it a staple in competitive deck-building for over a decade. Its design emphasizes the strategic importance of graveyard manipulation, turning a typically disadvantageous zone into a resource for resurrection or special summon conditions.

The Lost Art Promotion, which began in 2018, was created by Konami to bring the original Japanese card illustrations to the English-speaking market. These cards were distributed as promotional items at official tournament stores to fans who reached a certain purchase threshold. The LART-EN016 version of Foolish Burial features the original, uncensored artwork, which depicts a more explicit illustration compared to the standard western releases, reflecting the company’s effort to preserve the artistic vision of the game's creators.
