Fossil Dig

Fossil Dig was first introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Tactical Evolution set in 2007. It was designed to support Dinosaur-type decks, reflecting a broader effort by Konami to provide specialized search mechanics for creature types that were struggling to remain competitive within the evolving meta-game of the time. The card allows players to add a Level 6 or lower Dinosaur-type monster from their deck to their hand, offering consistency to archetypes focused on aggressive, high-attack prehistoric monsters.
