Gagaga Clerk

Gagaga Clerk was released in the 2013 Cosmo Blazer booster set as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. The card is a member of the Gagaga archetype, a series of monsters introduced during the Zexal era of the franchise, designed to facilitate Xyz Summoning by manipulating their own levels. The archetype was intended to provide a versatile, accessible playstyle that allowed players to bring out high-rank monsters with relative ease, reflecting the central gameplay mechanic of the Zexal series.

The card features an effect that allows for a Special Summon from the hand if the player controls another Gagaga monster, solidifying its role as a support piece for board development. As a Super Rare entry, its design highlights the visual aesthetic of the Gagaga monsters, which typically blend youthful, energetic character designs with mystical elements. While not a dominant staple in competitive tournament play, it remains a recognized example of the specific design philosophy that defined the Zexal-era card expansions.
