Provenance

Where it came from

Galaxy Hundred was released in 2024 as part of the 25th Anniversary Tin: Dueling Mirrors set. The card serves as support for the Galaxy-Eyes archetype, a fan-favorite series of cards centered around the dragon-themed monsters used by the character Kaito Tenjo in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal anime. The design focuses on enhancing the consistency of the archetype by allowing players to search their deck for specific support cards, reflecting the aggressive, space-themed aesthetic that defines the Galaxy-Eyes playstyle.

The card's inclusion in the Dueling Mirrors tin was part of a broader initiative by Konami to reprint high-demand and thematic cards to celebrate a quarter-century of the trading card game. Like other cards in this collection, the Ultra Rare foiling was applied to give the card a premium feel, distinguishing it from standard set releases. It is received by the community as a useful utility piece for dedicated Galaxy decks, designed to accelerate the summoning of powerful high-rank Xyz monsters.
