Gishki Reliever

Gishki Reliever was introduced in the 2013 English release of Hidden Arsenal 6: Omega Xyz. This set was designed to bring the remaining OCG-exclusive archetypes from the Duel Terminal world to Western players, specifically focusing on the complex ritual-summoning mechanics of the Gishki tribe. As part of a series centered on deep-sea ritual magic and biomechanical aesthetics, the card reflects the thematic transition of the Gishki faction toward using unconventional tribute materials to achieve their high-level ritual summons.

The card's design and illustration were handled by the Konami creative team responsible for the Duel Terminal storyline. It features the signature aesthetic of the Gishki archetype, blending nautical motifs with ritualistic technology. While intended to provide utility to Gishki decks by allowing for flexible tribute summoning, it was generally received by the competitive community as a niche support card that offered strategic depth for casual players but struggled to find a permanent home in the high-level tournament meta of the era.
