Gladiator Beast Equeste

Gladiator Beast Equeste was first introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Gladiator's Assault expansion set in 2007. It serves as a vital component of the Gladiator Beast archetype, a set of monsters designed around a tag-out mechanic that simulates the tactical positioning of Roman combatants. The card features a centaur-like design, reflecting the collection's theme of blending mythological figures with the aesthetic of gladiatorial arena combat.

The specific version requested, LCGX-EN251, was released in the 2011 Legendary Collection 2: The Duel Academy Years Mega Pack. This re-release utilized the Secret Rare rarity, distinguished by a diagonal holographic foil pattern that was highly sought after by players and collectors during the GX era of the game. The artwork, consistent across its various prints, was created to emphasize the monster's role as a support unit capable of retrieving key spells or traps from the graveyard, solidifying its place in competitive Gladiator Beast deck builds.
