Provenance

Where it came from

Grand Convergence is part of the Lost Art Promotion, a recurring event series for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game that features alternate, unedited artworks of cards previously released in Western territories with censored designs. This specific card, LART-EN062, restores the original illustration found in the Japanese OCG release, which depicts a scene involving the character Leo Akaba and his vision for the dimensional integration of the game's lore.

The card was distributed through authorized hobby stores as a promotional incentive for customers who met specific purchase thresholds. The Lost Art line is generally regarded by collectors as a preservation effort to showcase the original aesthetic intentions of the game's illustrators, prioritizing historical accuracy over the localization standards that necessitated the original global censorship.
