The design utilizes a literal interpretation of the Japanese phrase 'gyaku-gire', which translates to 'reverse snapping' or 'counter-anger,' depicting a panda in a state of sudden, aggressive rage. It was received by players as a niche but effective tool for decks focused on burn or aggression, though it never reached the status of meta-defining staples found in the same set.
