Harpie Lady 2

Harpie Lady 2 was released in the 2004 Rise of Destiny booster set, a pivotal expansion in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game that introduced several support cards designed to enhance existing archetypes. As an effect monster, it serves as an evolution of the classic Harpie Lady, incorporating a specific field-triggered effect meant to punish players for engaging with backrow-heavy strategies, reflecting the game's shift toward more interactive monster utility at the time.

The card’s design features artwork consistent with the aesthetic established by Kazuki Takahashi for the original Harpie theme, blending avian features with warrior motifs. Like many common-rarity cards from the early English sets, it was primarily distributed to ensure widespread accessibility for players looking to complete their Harpie-themed decks, and it remains a staple of nostalgia for collectors who prize the foundational era of the game.
