Here There Be Dragons

Here There Be Dragons was released as part of the Alliance Insight set, a collection developed during a period when the trading card game sought to expand its thematic focus on high-fantasy tropes and mythical beasts. The card was designed to function as a utility spell, providing players with strategic board control or defensive capabilities that mirrored the unpredictable dangers of uncharted territories in tabletop role-playing settings.

The artwork was commissioned to lean into traditional illustrative fantasy styles, aiming to evoke a sense of perilous exploration through dramatic lighting and detailed creature anatomy. While it remains a common rarity card, it was received by the player base as a reliable, flavor-forward inclusion that bridged the gap between functional deck utility and the atmospheric world-building that defined the Alliance Insight expansion.
