Hysteric Fairy

Hysteric Fairy was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the North American release of Dark Beginning 1, a compilation set that reprinted cards from early boosters to assist new players in building their decks. The card itself originates from the Japanese set Labyrinth of Nightmare, where it debuted as a Fairy-type monster designed to capitalize on the high-LP-gain mechanics popular in the game’s early tactical landscape.

The character art and mechanical design reflect the whimsical yet sharp aesthetic of the early Konami era, intended to balance low-level offensive potential with a conditional effect. As a common rarity card in the Dark Beginning 1 set, it served as a utility piece for collectors and duelists alike, aiming to provide accessible options for players focused on Light-attribute synergy during the game's formative years.
