Igknight Cavalier

Igknight Cavalier was released as part of the Dimension of Chaos booster set in 2015. It represents the Igknight archetype, a group of Fire-attribute Warrior-type monsters centered around the Pendulum Summoning mechanic. The set arrived during the peak of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V era, a period defined by the introduction of Pendulum scales that sought to speed up gameplay by allowing players to summon multiple monsters from their hand and Extra Deck simultaneously.

The visual design of the Igknights, including Cavalier, draws heavily from a high-fantasy aesthetic, depicting armored warriors integrated with steampunk or clockwork machinery. As a common rarity card, Cavalier was designed to be an accessible piece for players building Igknight decks. While it served its mechanical purpose in a strategy focused on constant Pendulum cycling, it is largely remembered by the community as a foundational component for the archetype's specific synergy rather than as a standalone centerpiece.
