Provenance

Where it came from

Infernity General was originally released as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game's support for the Infernity archetype, a deck famously utilized by the character Kalin Kessler in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime. Designed to leverage a high-risk playstyle where players benefit from having no cards in their hand, the card captures the archetype's thematic focus on desperation and graveyard recursion. Its inclusion in OTS Tournament Pack 14 serves as a reprint, providing competitive players with a more accessible version of this legacy effect monster.

The Super Rare version found in OP14-PT005 features the distinctive foil treatment characteristic of the OTS (Official Tournament Store) series. These packs are curated by Konami specifically for tournament play and community support, rather than mass retail distribution. This particular printing reflects the card's enduring utility in niche strategies, maintaining its relevance for players who seek to optimize deck consistency through its graveyard-based special summoning ability.
