Provenance

Where it came from

Infernity Necromancer first emerged in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the 'The Shining Darkness' expansion in 2010. It was designed to anchor the Infernity archetype, a high-risk strategy centered on emptying one's hand to unlock powerful graveyard-based effects. The card was specifically crafted to facilitate the revival of low-level monsters, enabling the swift synchro summoning chains that defined the competitive meta of that era.

The OTS Tournament Pack 14 release, which includes this common print, serves as an updated vehicle for legacy cards to remain accessible in the current tournament environment. These packs are distributed through the Official Tournament Store program, prioritizing utility for active players. While common in rarity, the card remains a staple for fans of the Infernity playstyle due to its essential function in maintaining the deck's resource loop.
