Infernoid Antra

Infernoid Antra was introduced in the Secrets of Eternity expansion, released in early 2015 as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. The Infernoid archetype, to which this card belongs, is defined by a high-risk, high-reward gameplay style focused on banishing resources from the graveyard to special summon powerful monsters, reflecting a theme of chaotic, fire-based mechanical entities rising from the ashes.

The card's design features the aggressive, infernal aesthetic characteristic of the archetype, brought to life by Konami's internal design team. As a Super Rare card within the Super Edition, it was marketed to provide players with accessible but foil-embellished options for their decks. Upon its release, the card was received as a versatile tool for competitive play due to its ability to bounce opponent's cards back to the hand, securing its place in the history of the meta-game during the mid-2010s.
