Inzektor Dragonfly

Inzektor Dragonfly was originally introduced in the 2012 Order of Chaos expansion, representing the centerpiece of the Inzektor archetype. The design team at Konami created the Inzektor monsters with a unique 'equip' mechanic, allowing them to attach other monsters from the graveyard or hand to themselves to trigger powerful secondary effects. This specific card, identified as OP17-PT019, was reissued in the 2021 OTS Tournament Pack 17, a release intended to provide competitive players with accessible versions of staple cards through tournament play participation.

The visual design features a mechanical insectoid warrior, consistent with the technological, armor-clad aesthetic of the Inzektor set. Upon its initial competitive debut, the card was highly influential, serving as the engine for a dominant deck strategy that topped many premier-level events. While the power level of the archetype has shifted over the years due to changes in the game's forbidden and limited list, the card remains a hallmark of high-synergy monster design and a frequent subject of nostalgic interest for long-term players.
