Joruri-P.U.N.K. Madame Spider

Joruri-P.U.N.K. Madame Spider is a central member of the P.U.N.K. archetype, which debuted in the Japanese set Deck Build Pack: Tactical Masters and later arrived in the Western TCG market. The archetype is defined by a unique fusion of traditional Japanese performing arts, such as Noh and Bunraku, with a futuristic, cyberpunk aesthetic. Madame Spider specifically draws her design cues from the spider yokai of Japanese folklore, reimagined through the lens of a high-tech stage performer.

The card was illustrated to reflect the mechanical and theatrical duality of the P.U.N.K. theme, featuring intricate, puppetry-inspired rigging and ornate, traditional costume elements integrated with cybernetic gear. Within the game, the card is valued for its utility in searching for P.U.N.K. trap cards, serving as a tactical anchor for the engine. Its inclusion in Battles of Legend: Monster Mayhem as an ultra-rare provided players with a high-rarity printing that maintained the artistic detail of the original release.
