Junk Berserker

Junk Berserker was released in 2011 as part of the Extreme Victory booster set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. It represents a key evolution in the Junk archetype, which is closely associated with the protagonist Yusei Fudo from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series. This card was designed as a high-level Synchro Monster, intended to provide players with a powerful offensive option capable of banishing opponent monsters while increasing its own attack power.

The Ghost Rare iteration of this card is a chase variant characterized by its unique holographic finish, where the artwork appears as a monochromatic, etched-glass effect rather than traditional foil. As a technical showpiece for Konami, the Ghost Rare printing is highly sought after by collectors for its aesthetic departure from standard rarity tiers. While the design was received positively by competitive players for its utility in the 5D's era, its longevity in collections is largely defined by the rarity of its visual execution.
