Kaiju Capture Mission

Kaiju Capture Mission was introduced in the Dimension of Chaos booster set, which was released by Konami in late 2015 for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. This set is notable for debuting the Kaiju archetype, a series of monsters inspired by the giant creatures of Japanese tokusatsu cinema. The card serves as support for these monsters, representing the tactical containment protocols used to track and control the destructive entities within the game's lore.

The card’s illustration and mechanical design were crafted to complement the playstyle of the Kaiju archetype, which focuses on tributing opponent monsters to summon massive beasts. By offering draw power and resource management, the trap card reflects the thematic pursuit of keeping the Kaiju under surveillance. Like many common-rarity cards in the set, it was designed to provide utility and depth for players integrating the Kaiju theme into their decks.
