Last Day of Witch

Last Day of Witch was released as a promotional card for the Duelist League Series 9, which took place in the early 2010s. The Duelist League was a structured play program designed by Konami for local hobby stores to foster community engagement among younger or casual players, offering participation cards as a reward for attendance rather than tournament placement. This specific card was distributed as a super-rare variant, a common practice for these league kits to add visual appeal and collectibility to cards that were already well-established within the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game ecosystem.

The card features an effect that destroys all face-up Spellcaster-type monsters on the field, reflecting a tactical counter-play design common in the game's early development. Originally released in the North American Metal Raiders set, the artwork depicts a mystical scene focusing on the final moments of a spellcaster, utilizing the game's characteristic high-fantasy aesthetic. While the card itself was not considered a meta-defining staple, its inclusion in the Duelist League series remains a point of interest for collectors focusing on event-exclusive variants and the history of Konami’s grassroots organized play initiatives.
