Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En

Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in 2011 within the Storm of Ragnarok set, later being reprinted as a Secret Rare in the 2017 Spirit Warriors booster pack. The card represents the character in his prime, designed as a powerful Synchro Monster that reflects the disciplined, tactical nature of the Six Samurai archetype. Its mechanic, which allows the player to negate a spell or trap card once per turn, solidified its status as a cornerstone of the archetype's competitive strategy.

The card's design features the signature sharp, ornate samurai armor aesthetic consistent with the broader Six Samurai line, which draws thematic inspiration from Sengoku-period Japan. As a high-rarity print in the Spirit Warriors set, this version is sought after by collectors for its holographic finish and its historical utility in the game's meta. It is widely regarded as one of the most iconic synchro monsters ever released for the archetype, serving as both a defensive wall and a symbol of the deck's historical dominance.
