Linkbelt Wall Dragon

Linkbelt Wall Dragon was introduced in the Extreme Force booster set, which hit North American markets in early 2018. This expansion served as the seventh core booster pack of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V era, specifically focusing on supporting the Link Summoning mechanics that had been introduced to the game the previous year. Within the context of the game's competitive meta at the time, the card was designed as a low-rarity common, intended to fill out the set’s roster while providing players with a monster that interacted with the updated positioning rules defined by the Link format.

The creature’s aesthetic design aligns with the industrial and mechanical themes common to the Cyberse type. It was illustrated to reflect the 'Link' motif, emphasizing rigid, grid-like structures and metallic textures that define the archetypal appearance of monsters introduced during this cycle. Like many common cards in the Extreme Force set, it was received primarily as a utility piece for casual play or draft environments rather than a centerpiece for competitive tournament decks, reflecting its functional role in the broader card game ecosystem.
