Machine Angel Absolute Ritual

Machine Angel Absolute Ritual was introduced in the 2017 Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game set Duelist Pack: Dimensional Guardians. The card is designed to support the Cyber Angel archetype, a series of Ritual Monsters primarily used by the character Alexis Rhodes in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX animated series. Its introduction was intended to provide more flexibility and efficiency to the archetype by allowing players to utilize monsters from both their hand and graveyard as tribute for Ritual Summons, reflecting the series' focus on strategic resource management.

The artwork and mechanical design of the card draw upon the aesthetic established by the Cyber Angel cards, blending mechanical, angelic, and robotic themes that define the sub-archetype. As a Rare-tier card within the Duelist Pack, it was positioned as an accessible utility piece for players looking to refine their Ritual-based decks. The card was generally well-received within the community for its role in enabling easier access to high-level monsters, helping to modernize the playability of the Cyber Angel theme for competitive and casual duelists alike.
