Majesty's Fiend

Majesty's Fiend was introduced in the Primal Origin booster set, released in 2014 as the fifth core set of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal era. The card was designed as a thematic successor to earlier 'Fiend' monsters that disrupt the opponent's strategy by restricting their ability to activate monster effects. Its inclusion in this specific set reflected the game's ongoing focus on countering the increasingly complex combo-heavy playstyles of that period.

The card’s artwork features a imposing, demonic figure, consistent with the aesthetic standards established by Konami’s design team for high-level effect monsters. As a Secret Rare in the Primal Origin set, it was distributed with a distinct holographic foil pattern that made it a chase card for collectors and competitive players alike. Upon release, it was well-received within the competitive meta for its ability to shut down common deck strategies, cementing its status as a staple for control-oriented strategies during the 2014 tournament season.
