Mayhem Fur Hire

Mayhem Fur Hire was introduced in the 2018 Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game booster set Dark Saviors. This set was designed to introduce several new archetypes to the game, with the Fur Hire theme focusing on a multi-attribute swarm strategy where monsters trigger effects based on the successful summon of other Fur Hire creatures. The card serves as a thematic piece of support, designed to facilitate board recovery and graveyard recursion to keep the archetype's engine running efficiently.

The card’s artwork features the signature whimsical yet battle-ready aesthetic of the Fur Hire clan, characteristic of the series' lore-heavy design approach. As a Secret Rare, the card features the high-contrast diagonal foil etching that distinguishes it from common counterparts in the set. Upon release, players noted its utility for navigating the resource-heavy nature of the Fur Hire playstyle, though it remained a niche competitive choice compared to the broader meta-defining cards released during that era.
