Medius the Pure

Medius the Pure was released as part of the Winner's Pack 2026-2027, a specialized promotional set distributed exclusively to top-performing players at regional and national tournament events. This card serves as a thematic continuation of the game's high-fantasy art direction, emphasizing minimalist, celestial aesthetics that stand in contrast to the more chaotic designs common in standard expansion sets. Its design was intended to evoke a sense of clarity and technical precision, rewarding players who favor tactical control over aggressive playstyles.

The art for Medius the Pure was commissioned to highlight the transition toward cleaner, high-contrast imagery in modern trading card game design. Upon its release, it received positive feedback from competitive players for its unique effect mechanics and the striking visual appeal of its ultra-rare finish. It has since become a sought-after piece for collectors who focus on tournament-exclusive prize cards, particularly due to the specific conditions required to obtain one during the 2026-2027 competitive cycle.
