Mind Crush

Mind Crush was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game in 2004 during the Magician's Force expansion. Designed as a tactical trap card, it reflects the game's focus on information warfare, allowing a player to declare a card name and force their opponent to discard copies of that card if they are holding them. The mechanic was crafted to reward players who could effectively track their opponent's hand or predict their strategic patterns, adding a layer of psychological depth to competitive dueling.

The version from the Speed Duel: Streets of Battle City set, designated SBC1-ENE19, serves as a functional reprint tailored for the Speed Duel format. This format simplifies the game's rules and board state to encourage faster, more accessible matches, and the inclusion of Mind Crush provides players with a consistent tool for hand control. Like other cards in the Speed Duel series, it maintains the classic illustration style while being specifically balanced for its unique play environment.
