Mist Valley Executor

Mist Valley Executor was introduced in the Duel Terminal 2 set, which was released as part of the innovative Duel Terminal arcade system by Konami. This card is a key member of the Mist Valley archetype, a group of Wind-attribute winged-beast monsters designed around the mechanic of returning your own cards to the hand to trigger powerful secondary effects. The theme draws heavily from high-fantasy aesthetics, depicting avian warriors inhabiting a misty, mountainous region.

The design of the Mist Valley archetype was conceived to challenge players to manage their board presence strategically, forcing a delicate balance between field control and resource recycling. Like many cards in the early Duel Terminal era, Executor features a distinct terminal-style layout that differentiates it from standard booster pack releases. Upon its release, it was primarily utilized as a utility piece within Mist Valley-themed decks, appreciated by collectors for its unique card border and the lore-heavy expansion of the Duel Terminal world.
