Muka Muka

Muka Muka was introduced in the Metal Raiders expansion, the second major set released for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in North America in 2002. As an earth-attributed rock-type monster, it reflects the early design philosophy of the game, which drew heavily from the manga and anime series to fill out the roster of low-level effect monsters. Its design features a distinct, whimsical aesthetic characteristic of the era's card art, meant to represent a creature that grows in power relative to the size of the player's hand.

The card was designed to incentivize hand management, rewarding players who held onto cards rather than playing them immediately.
