Multiple Piece Golem

The Multiple Piece Golem was introduced in 2008 as part of The Duelist Genesis, a pivotal booster set that marked the beginning of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's era in the Trading Card Game. It was designed to support the fusion-based strategies of the time, specifically requiring the combination of Proto-Cyber Dragon and another machine-type monster to summon. The card reflects the mechanical aesthetic favored by the era's machine-type archetypes, focusing on industrial design elements and heavy-armor motifs typical of the Konami art team's output for early synchro-era expansions.

As an ultimate-rare card, this version features a distinct etched foiling process that gives the artwork a textured, three-dimensional appearance, distinguishing it from the standard ultra-rare printings. Upon its release, it was regarded by collectors as a centerpiece of the set due to this premium finish. While the card did not reach widespread competitive dominance in professional tournament play, it remains a notable example of the card-crafting techniques used during the transition between the GX and 5D's generations of the game.
