Nehshaddoll Genius

Nehshaddoll Genius was originally released in the 2014 Japanese booster set The Secret of Evolution, serving as a support monster for the Shaddoll archetype. The Shaddoll series introduced a fusion-based strategy centered on graveyard manipulation and flip-effect mechanics, which significantly shifted the competitive landscape of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game during the 'Duelist Alliance' era. As a light-attribute monster, it was specifically designed to facilitate the summon of the powerful fusion monster El Shaddoll Construct while providing backrow disruption.

The version from Ghosts From the Past (GFTP-EN006) represents a reprint of this card in an ultra-rare foil finish. This collection box was released in 2021 as a celebratory set intended to provide players with easier access to older, sought-after cards and various high-rarity ghost rare reprints. The design of the card, featuring the intricate, marionette-like aesthetic typical of the Shaddoll lore, maintains the dark, atmospheric art style that defined the archetype's narrative, which follows the tragic transformation of existing Duel Terminal characters into puppets.
