Neko Mane King

Neko Mane King was originally released in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Dark Revelation Volume 1 set in 2005. This collection served as a compilation release, reprinting a variety of cards that had previously appeared in early expansion sets, allowing players to access cards that were once difficult to obtain. The card itself, a Level 3 Beast-type effect monster, was first introduced during the game's formative years, designed with a niche effect intended to disrupt an opponent's turn by forcing the end of the Battle Phase.

The creature's design reflects the whimsical yet tactical nature of the game’s early art direction, depicting a feline figure with a crown, playing on the concept of a cat acting as a king of the jungle. While the card is a common rarity and did not fundamentally alter the competitive landscape, it is appreciated by collectors for its specific mechanical utility and its place in the extensive library of early 2000s Konami card designs.
