No Entry!!

No Entry!! was released as part of the 2-Player Starter Set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, which debuted in the early 2000s to introduce new players to the mechanics of the Konami card game. As a common rarity trap card, it was designed as a functional piece of starter kit inventory intended to teach players the timing and resolution of trap cards during a duel. Its utility was focused on negating specific monster attacks, serving as a fundamental defensive tool for novices learning to manage the battlefield.

The card’s aesthetic and mechanics are rooted in the original Japanese design philosophy of Kazuki Takahashi’s Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and anime series. Like many cards in early starter decks, the illustration leans into the archetypal 'hazard' imagery common to the game's trap card library. While it never achieved status as a competitive staple in professional play, it remains a nostalgic inclusion for collectors interested in the foundational card pool that shaped the game's initial global expansion.
