Noble Knight Custennin

Noble Knight Custennin was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the 2019 Gold Sarcophagus Tin Mega Pack, which served as a compilation set featuring cards originally released in core sets throughout the preceding year. The Noble Knight archetype, rooted in Arthurian legend, was designed by Konami to function through a synergy of equipping monster cards to one another to bolster their combat capabilities. This specific iteration, Custennin, was intended to provide the deck with additional board presence and disruption capabilities.

The card artwork maintains the series' characteristic high-fantasy aesthetic, depicting the titular knight in polished, ornate armor consistent with the visual language established by the Noble Knight theme. Upon its release in the Mega Pack, the card was received primarily as a functional utility piece for dedicated players of the Noble Knight deck. Its rarity as a Rare in the MP19 set ensured it was accessible to collectors and competitors alike, fitting into the larger thematic arc of the Arthurian-inspired card series.
