Provenance

Where it came from

Norito the Moral Leader was first introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Battles of Legend: Relentless Revenge set, which was released in mid-2018. The set was designed to bring highly requested cards from the Japanese OCG to the international market, consolidating powerful support cards and high-rarity reprints into a single, cohesive collection for competitive players.

The card belongs to the Rank 6 Xyz Monster category, featuring a design centered on a stoic, armored guardian figure that reflects the card's theme of negation and control. It was illustrated with a distinct high-fantasy aesthetic common to the era's card art, aiming to visually communicate its role as a defensive pillar on the field. Upon its release, it was well-received by players seeking versatile options for Rank 6-focused decks, establishing itself as a reliable utility monster in various strategic builds.
