Ojama King

Ojama King was originally introduced during the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX era, representing the eccentric and comedic aesthetic associated with the character Chazz Princeton. Designed as a Fusion Monster, it serves as a central piece of the Ojama archetype, which prioritizes disrupting the opponent's field by locking down their available Monster Zones. The card reflects the series' tendency to blend strategic tactical play with whimsical, grotesque character designs that stood in stark contrast to the more traditional warrior or dragon archetypes common in the game.

The version from the Speed Duel GX: Duel Academy Box, numbered SGX1-ENC21, was released as a common card to support the inclusion of Chazz Princeton’s signature deck in the streamlined Speed Duel format. This release allowed players to experience the specific playstyle of the GX era without the complexity of modern competitive play. Like most reprints in this line, it was designed to maintain accessibility for fans of the animated series while providing necessary support for players building theme-based decks within the specific limitations of the Speed Duel ruleset.
