Performage Mirror Conductor

Performage Mirror Conductor was released as part of the Dimension of Chaos booster set, which debuted in late 2015. The card was designed to support the Performage archetype, a series of monsters inspired by circus performers that were famously utilized by the character Dennis McField in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime series. This archetype was introduced during the Pendulum Summoning era, focusing on flexible manipulation of monster levels and battle damage mitigation to create strategic board states.

As a Pendulum Monster, Mirror Conductor was crafted with a dual identity, serving both as a field spell-like utility in the Pendulum Zone and a functional monster on the field. The artwork reflects the whimsical, slightly unsettling aesthetic of the Performage theme, depicting a performer whose reflective motifs mirror the card's effect of swapping the attack and defense stats of monsters. Like many common cards from this set, it was intended to provide accessible tactical depth for players building deck strategies centered around the ARC-V era mechanics.
