Performapal Bot-Eyes Lizard

Performapal Bot-Eyes Lizard was released in 2016 as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game expansion set The Dark Illusion. The card belongs to the Performapal archetype, a central feature of the Arc-V era of the franchise, which introduced Pendulum Summoning mechanics to the game. It was designed to support the mechanical identity of the Performapal theme, which focuses on versatile monster effects and synergy with the Pendulum scale.

The card's design features the characteristic whimsical, circus-inspired aesthetic associated with the Performapal monsters, blending mechanical components with reptilian features. As a common rarity card in the TDIL set, it was primarily intended for deck-building utility rather than as a collectible rarity. Like many cards in the late Pendulum era, its reception was largely defined by its playability within competitive Performapal strategies, reflecting the design team's goal of expanding the card pool during the Arc-V release cycle.
