Performapal Kaleidoscorp

Performapal Kaleidoscorp was introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in 2015 as part of the Star Pack ARC-V expansion. This set was designed to make cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V animated series more accessible to younger or casual players by featuring a streamlined selection of cards from the show. The monster belongs to the Performapal archetype, a signature group of pendulum monsters utilized by the series protagonist, Yuya Sakaki, characterized by their circus-themed designs and focus on entertainment-based dueling mechanics.

The design of Kaleidoscorp reflects the core aesthetic of the Performapal line, which blends animalistic traits with performers' attire to create a whimsical, performance-oriented visual style. As a common rarity card within the Star Pack, it was intended as a functional entry-level piece rather than a high-value collector's item. Its inclusion in this specific set underscores the effort by Konami to bridge the gap between the televised narrative and the physical card game, allowing fans to replicate the tactical versatility seen on screen.
