Periallis, Empress of Blossoms

Periallis, Empress of Blossoms was first released as part of the Legendary 5D's Decks, a product released to celebrate the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series. This set was designed to provide players and collectors with key cards featured throughout the series, gathering iconic monsters and support cards into a structured release that honors the Synchro Summoning mechanic central to that era of the game.

The card features artwork consistent with the aesthetic of the 5D's card sets, which emphasize intricate, often ethereal designs for high-level Synchro monsters. As an Ultra Rare, it holds a distinct visual finish meant to highlight its status as a powerful Plant-type monster. It was received by the community as a useful tool for Plant-based archetypes, serving as a reliable way to pull high-level monsters from the hand or graveyard to the field.
