Pot of Acquisitiveness

Pot of Acquisitiveness was introduced in the Invasion: Vengeance booster set, released in 2016 as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. It belongs to the long-standing 'Pot' series of spell cards, which are renowned in the community for their powerful, utility-focused mechanics that allow players to draw cards or recycle resources. This specific card was designed to support graveyard-heavy strategies by allowing players to return monsters from their graveyard or banished zone to the deck, providing both resource replenishment and deck thinning capabilities.

The card features artwork consistent with the thematic aesthetic of the Konami design team, depicting an ornate vessel overflowing with treasure, which mirrors the card's function of recovering lost resources. Upon its release, it was received as a versatile tool for various rogue and competitive decks that rely on long-term resource management. Its super-rare status in the Invasion: Vengeance set made it a moderately sought-after utility card for players looking to balance their deck recovery without the strict costs associated with more restrictive spell cards.
