Priestess with Eyes of Blue

Priestess with Eyes of Blue was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Breakers of Shadow expansion, later appearing as a Secret Rare in the Legendary Collection Kaiba Mega Pack. The card was designed to support the Blue-Eyes White Dragon archetype, providing players with a way to easily special summon the iconic dragon from the deck by targeting it with card effects. Its aesthetic, featuring a mystical maiden with long flowing hair, aligns with the game's tradition of blending high-fantasy motifs with mechanical gameplay utility.

The card was illustrated by the staff artists at Konami, who frequently work under the oversight of the game's original creators to maintain the visual consistency of the Blue-Eyes support cards. During its release, it was well-received by competitive duelists for its synergy with other 'Eyes of Blue' monsters, effectively streamlining deck strategies centered around summoning high-level dragons. It remains a notable entry in the collection due to its high-rarity foil treatment in the Kaiba-focused mega pack, which appeals to both players and collectors of the franchise.
