Raider's Knight

Raider's Knight was originally introduced as an Ultra Rare card in the 2020 Phantom Rage booster set before being reprinted as a Rare in the 2021 Tin of Ancient Battles. As an Xyz Monster, it serves as a crucial support card for the Raidraptor and The Phantom Knights archetypes, specifically designed to bridge the two themes by allowing players to rank up into powerful monsters like Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon. Its existence reflects the ongoing integration of these two distinct dark-attribute strategies within the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game.

The card features artwork consistent with the aesthetic of the Yuto character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V series, emphasizing a dark, armored, and spectral motif common to the Xyz dimension's resistance themes. Designed by the Konami digital design team, the card is highly regarded by competitive players for its utility in simplifying complex Rank-Up-Magic combos. Upon its release, it was well-received for providing a consistent and searchable path to high-impact boss monsters, solidifying its place in rogue and competitive deck builds of the era.
