Raviel, Lord of Phantasms

Raviel, Lord of Phantasms was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as a core component of the Sacred Beasts theme, first appearing in the Shadow of Infinity booster set in 2006. The card was designed to be a centerpiece of high-level play, mirroring the powerful demonic entities featured in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX animated series. Its gameplay design emphasizes aggressive field presence, requiring the tribute of three Fiend-type monsters to summon, reflecting its status as one of the three primary antagonistic forces in the show's narrative.

This specific iteration, numbered CT03-EN003, was released as a promotional Secret Rare in the 2006 Collectible Tins. This release served to make the powerful card more accessible to the broader player base following its initial launch. The card's aesthetic, featuring its distinct intricate, demonic artwork, became a hallmark of the mid-2000s card pool, and it is widely remembered by collectors for its holographic foil finish that was characteristic of the Secret Rare rarity during that era of the game.
