Revival of the Immortals

Revival of the Immortals was released in the 2009 trading card game expansion Ancient Prophecy. The set was designed to support the Earthbound Immortal archetype, a series of powerful monsters introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's animated series. This card was specifically engineered to provide a tactical advantage for these monsters, allowing players to recover key pieces from the graveyard to maintain board presence in an increasingly complex competitive environment.

The card features art consistent with the aesthetic of the Earthbound Immortal sub-series, characterized by ominous, ancient motifs and dark, mystical color palettes. Like many support cards in the Ancient Prophecy set, its design focused on balancing high-risk, high-reward mechanics. While it did not dominate the tournament meta, it remains a notable piece for collectors focusing on the 5D's era, representing a specific point in the game's transition toward faster, archetype-specific support.
