Revived King Ha Des

Revived King Ha Des was released as part of the Crossroads of Chaos booster set, which hit North American markets in late 2008. The card serves as a thematic evolution of the classic 'King of Yamimakai' and the original 'King Ha Des,' reimagined through the game's then-expanding Synchro Summoning mechanic. It was designed to synergize with Zombie-type archetypes, emphasizing the undead resurgence motifs prevalent in the card game's middle era.

The artwork was produced under the direction of Konami’s design team, intended to evoke a more sinister, spectral aesthetic compared to its predecessors. As an Ultimate Rare print, it features a distinct embossed texture and foil finish that was highly sought after by collectors at the time. While the card saw moderate competitive play for its ability to negate the effects of monsters it destroyed, it remains most noted for its intricate, ornate illustration and its status as a hallmark of the synchro-era aesthetic.
