Salamangreat Beat Bison

Salamangreat Beat Bison was introduced as part of the Structure Deck: Soulburner, released in early 2019. This deck was designed to bring the Salamangreat archetype—a group of Fire-attribute Cyberse monsters popularized by the character Takeru Homura in the Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS anime—to the forefront of the competitive meta. The card serves as a high-level boss monster intended to disrupt opposing backrow and monster fields through its ability to negate effects and reset card positions.

The visual design of Beat Bison draws upon the franchise's recurring theme of futuristic, techno-organic beasts, blending armored, cybernetic plating with the silhouette of a charging bison. As a common rarity card in a structure deck, it was intended to provide accessible utility for players building a cohesive Fire-based strategy. While the Salamangreat archetype became a dominant competitive force, Beat Bison remains a niche inclusion often appreciated more for its specific technical applications in rogue decks than as a core engine piece.
