Satellarknight Procyon

Satellarknight Procyon was originally introduced as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game archetype known as the Tellarknights, debuting in the 2014 core set Duelist Alliance. The archetype draws its inspiration from constellations, with Procyon specifically referencing the brightest star in the constellation Canis Minor. The design team at Konami crafted these monsters with a high-synergy playstyle centered on summoning and graveyard recursion, allowing players to establish strong board presence through quick special summoning effects.

The 2015 Mega-Tin Mega Pack, which featured this specific common rarity version, was released as a compilation set designed to make powerful cards from the previous year more accessible to the competitive player base. The artwork for Procyon reflects the armored, celestial aesthetic characteristic of the Tellarknight series, blending mechanical sci-fi elements with mythological naming conventions. As a common card in this reprint set, it served as a functional utility piece for duelists rather than a collector's showpiece, widely utilized for its ability to cycle cards while maintaining the momentum of the archetype's strategies.
