Shinobaron Peacock

Shinobaron Peacock was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the 2017 Mega-Tin Mega Pack, serving as a reprint of its original appearance in the Raging Tempest booster set. As a ritual monster representing the Spirit archetype, the card features a distinctive design that emphasizes the Japanese aesthetic of the Shinobird theme, focusing on powerful wind-attributed avian creatures that utilize spirit mechanics to return to the hand during the end phase.

The card was designed to support the Shinobird strategy, which relies on high-level ritual summoning to clear an opponent's field of monsters and spells. Upon its release, the artwork—illustrating an ornate, ethereal peacock—was noted for its intricate detailing and traditional artistic motifs, fitting squarely within the game's expansive visual lore. It is regarded by collectors as a functional staple within its specific niche, valued more for its utility in gameplay than as a high-rarity collector's piece.
